AAHEA - American Association of Higher Education and Accreditation
The American Association of Higher Education and Accreditation is
the oldest non-profit organisation in the United States that has been
working to improve the standards of education since 1870.
Berkeley International University is proud to be a paid member of AAHEA.

MQA – Malaysian Qualifications Agency
Berkeley International University has applied for accreditation by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency
and is expected to gain accredited status in late 2009. MQA is recognized by over 20 countries and
education authorities around the world and is accepted by UNESCO.
Overseas International Education Centres
Overseas International Education Centre OIEC acts as a marketing arm for Berkeley International
working closely with Berkeley Australia International to expand and improve education standards across
the Asian region.
*Note: No Berkeley University Courses can be undertaken in Australia and no Citizen of Australia can
take a distance learning degree offered by Berkeley International University.
OIEC does not run educational courses in Australia but is a marketing office based in Australia to
promote Berkeley International University.
Courses are available across Asia and other associated Learning Centers.
World Association of Universities and Colleges
The Berkeley International University is an accredited member of World Association of Universities and
Colleges (WAUC), USA. WAUC is recognized by the Association Internationale Des Educateurs Pour
La Paix Mondiale, which is affiliated with UNESCO and UNICEF.
