Notes:-
The Bachelor of Information Technology Management is divided into three areas of expertise.
All students would have to complete all the Core Modules Parts A & B and then choose to complete one of the electives – Software
Applications, Network Administration or Multi Media, thereby completing 24 modules and gaining a Bachelor Degree.

CREDITS

Diploma of Computer Management can gain credits to the Bachelor of Information Technology to a maximum of 10 module credits.
The credits being 7 modules of the Core subjects and 3 modules of Software Applications or Network Administration. No credits
can be offered from the Multi Media modules from study of the B.I.U. Diploma
If a student can prove that they have completed any module within the Bachelor course previously, credits can be given for those
completed modules, thereby lessening the course length.

ASSESSMENT

Assessment of modules may be through class tests, assignments, formal examinations, oral presentations and observation.
NOTE:- Notification and assessment requirements for each college where the courses are run to be outlined in the Memorandum
of Association between B.I.U. and the Learning Centre.

RECOGNITION of  PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)

A student, who has a Prior Learning achieved via classroom tutorial, vocational education, professional experience, research,
business training, or professional membership, may be granted credits in our degree programs. This will enable the student to take
fewer numbers of modules and save tuition fees.

For assessment on your prior learning, please send verifiable documents, which acknowledge your previous education and
professional experience. Documents, which are not in English, must be accompanied with an accurate English translation.
