Developing the skills necessary to be a leader in the public service rests upon four basic elements: knowledge, skills, values, and
behavior. To develop leaders in public policy and management, the MPA program provides the skills necessary.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

A student, who has a Prior Learning achieved via classroom tutorial, vocational education, professional experience, research,
business training, or professional membership, may be granted credits in our Masters programs. This will enable the student to
take fewer numbers of modules and save tuition fees
For assessment on your prior learning, please send verifiable documents, which acknowledge your previous education and
professional experience. Documents, which are not in English, must be accompanied with proper English translation

Masters Degree Program - Thesis
The Thesis should be a piece of research closely related to the student's concentration area and
internship. For example, if a student is interested in nonprofit management, they could do their
concentration in our nonprofit signature area, undertake an internship in a nonprofit organization, and
write their Thesis on some aspect of nonprofit management they have interest about - such as fund
development, volunteer management, etc. The requirements for the course include a significant research
paper, a public presentation on the paper, and development concept of a research poster that visually
displays the research.
