Joint Venture procedure for a New Learning Centre

What is a Learning Centre?

A Learning Centre is an educational institution that has been approved by the
Berkeley University Australian International Office to offer Berkeley courses to their
students, thus becoming themselves a part of an International Educational group.

Procedure for Joining

PLEASE NOTE :- We realize that there is quite a lot of information requested in order to process an
application. If you need assistance or are unsure of what information to forward, please email (with as many
details as possible) to
enquiries@berkeleyuniversity.us and we will advise on what further details are
absolutely necessary or which option of offering BIU Degrees best suits your institutions set-up and
demographics. Not all of our members are huge universities with numerous faculties and please do not
forget our goal is to improve education worldwide whether that is with a small college or a large university.

We apologize for being so detailed on application but only wish that quality institutions that share our goals
and values become members of our global network.

Application Information Needed

We require some fundamental information about your Institution to begin the application process and
assess the possibility of becoming an associated member:

have already achieved a Degree to which the institute recognized as the student being proficient in
            the subject matter.
11.       On completion of their studies and again the correct information sent, The transcript and degree will

numbers of students the institute will commit to BIU, the courses which the institute wishes to offer from
Diploma to PhD, and the complexity of the course. Also, the style to which the institute wishes to form the
relationship.

1.        New Learning Centre Joining fee US$ 500.00 - US$ 1,500.00

3.        Student Royalty fee per Degree/Qualification US$ 425.00 - US$ 4,500.00

Advantages of Membership

1.        The learning Centre joins with a group of professional educational institutions around the world, so
they may cross references information and activities, thereby making the Learning Centre an
           International Centre overnight.
2.        The students can gain a Diploma or Degree from one of America´s most forward thinking
Universities thereby increasing their chances of better employment and an improved way of life.
Naturally, no University will guarantee every student a job and as Berkeley does not run an
Employment agency it therefore cannot give assurances that its graduates will automatically obtain
            pay rises or employment.
3.        Students may graduate at their own Learning Centre's campus or they are invited to join one of
Berkeley's graduations when they occur in many countries where our courses are run.
4.        It is also possible for students to study overseas at one of our Centres for one module or a year; the
choice is up to them and the own personal budget.
5.        The new Learning Centre will have access to European, Australian and American Lecturers and
international qualifications and courses thereby putting them ahead of their own competition in their
own region. This translates into greater acceptance by the student population and greater growth for
             the Institution.
